Blindly Acquitted by Katie May

adventurous dark emotional funny hopeful lighthearted tense fast-paced

5.0

Representation: Blind Heroine, Black Hero, Lesbian Side Characters, wlw side romance

I didn't really know what to expect with Blindly Acquitted but the reality far exceeded my expectations. The sequel fleshed out each of the characters, and while Rion annoyed me in Blindly Indicted, I really enjoyed his eccentricities in this book. It felt like Katie May found her rhythm with the characters. I also appreciated, considering the large harem, each of the men had their distinct personalities, and the Heroine had meaningful friendships that didn't revolve around her romantic relationships! Both are unfortunately rare in reverse harem romances.

Overall, I finished the book wanting more.
