The Wild Boy: A Memoir by Paolo Cognetti

4.0

Cognetti seems to be another kindred spirit in his desire to not necessarily retreat entirely from the world, but at least take extended breaks from it. I love his clear, descriptive writing, and his portrayals of the other oddball characters he finds on his mountain retreat are wonderful. I read this as a primer toward getting an insight on what his other work might be like, and I am eager to delve deeper.
