Definitely read the trigger warnings before starting this book because I was SHOCKED at some of the content. Like I'm an avid thriller/horror reader so I'm used to potentially triggering content but this was too much for me. Like to the point where I didn't even enjoy the romance bits because I was still reeling from some scenes.
Graphic: Death, Incest, Rape, Sexual assault, Sexual content, and Murder
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship, Body horror, Child abuse, Physical abuse, Suicide, Blood, Stalking, Death of parent, and Alcohol
Minor: Confinement, Gun violence, and Alcohol
So, the main character is a serial killer so be prepared for everything that comes along with that (murder, blood, torture, death, etc). Also it's romance/erotic so sexual scenes are described in detail. Both of the main characters were sexually assaulted as children. The MMC (serial killer) was raped by his mother throughout childhood (he kills women who look like her; it's implied she's the reason he starts killing). These scenes are described in detail (multiple times) which can be very triggering. FMC murders an ex-boyfriend which is described in detail with lots of blood. MMC tortures FMC with a weapon. MMC is shot and killed, as a result FMC takes her own life at the end of the book.
