Delighted: A Masters and Mercenaries Novella by Lexi Blake
5.0
I know that Boomer's story will be one of my go to re-reads. Boomer was the best, and Lou was a very close second.
I enjoyed how the MTG kids embraced Lou. I liked Daphne. I felt for her because she felt trapped in her in-laws web. I really liked how both Daphne and Lou blossomed after meeting Boomer.
This book was sweet, steamy, and romantic. I thought there was also a dash of suspense at certain points in the book. The dialogue was witty and quite often humorous.
I love Ryan West's narration. I had a difficulty couple of days, and listening to this book made me feel so much better. I was able to let go of all my stress.
If I had one wish, it would be to get details on Amelia's reaction to what she set in motion.
