A Nearly Normal Family by Mattias Edvardsson
4.0

Stella is nineteen and stands accused of the brutal murder of a man fifteen years her senior. She is an ordinary teenager with an upstanding family. Why would she commit murder?
Stella’s father, a pastor and her mother who is a criminal defence attorney find themselves struggling to understand why she could be a suspect.
How well do you know your own children and how far would you go to protect them?

This story is told in three points of view, dad Adam, Mum Ulrika and Stella. It is very easy to follow and the writing is fabulous! The characters in the story were developed well and some are not very likeable. However, the story would not be as good without them being this way. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Pan MacMillan for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
