Off Limits by Kelly Jamieson

I don't usually like novellas because they seem to be incomplete or too shallow, but in this case, Kelly Jamieson did a brilliant job! Andrew is an NHL hockey player. He was adopted into Jenna's family at 16, when he lost his parents. He was so grateful and so happy to join a caring, loving family that even though he fell in love with Jenna, he didn't act on it, out of respect for his new adoptive parents. Jenna's parents had indeed warned him delicately off Jenna, so he did stay away. Then this Christmas, when the whole family got, together, and Jenna arrived with a new boyfriend, things got muddled, feelings ran high, and it was all they could do, watch each other and yearn for what they couldn't have. Jenna understood Andrew's position, but still hurt. It was beautiful to,read about a family,s fun time at Christmas. Like Ms Jamieson other books, her characters are nice people you would like to meet and make friends with. Loved it!
