GUYS...I NEED YOU TO STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS BOOK.

I honestly think Forget Me Not by Julie Soto is a top contender for one of my favorite books this year. Not to mention it's a DEBUT?? Like, shut up.

Our FMC, Ama, is a wedding planner and our MMC, Elliot, is a florist. These two met while working together in the wedding industry - 5 years prior to the first scene in this book. But somewhere along the way they have a falling out and haven't worked together in 3 years.

After Ama books the biggest wedding of her career with internet sensation, Hazel Renee, she is forced to work with Elliot during the planning. *cue all the awkward moments and tension.* We learn through the flashbacks how Elliot and Ama met and what led to their falling out. While also following their current interactions and the situations pulling them back together. Forget Me Not had a lot of Notebook-esque 'it still isn't over' vibes.

Julie Soto created some of the most lovable characters and hilarious scenes in this book. There were moments when I was absolutely cackling. 👏  There were also moments when I was absolutely sweating from how hot these two were. 🔥 There were also moments that made me want a donut real bad. 🍩

I truly think this could be one of my top reads this year and it was definitely added to the Favorites list! Side note, the audio narration was 10/10. Callie Dalton and Teddy Hamilton did not let me down.

A few of my favorite Elliot Bloom quotes include:
・ “I don’t give a fuck who it is. I want you to look debauched when I’m debauching you.”
・ “Get the fuck away from me,” he says, as politely as he possibly can.
・ “Did I just kill her with a peanut butter donut?”
・ “I’m not going to marry you. I’m gonna date the shit outta you, though.”
・ “Someone I met five years, four months, three weeks, and five days ago.”
