King of Battle and Blood by Scarlett St. Clair

5.0

wow… WOW. I’m obsessed to say the least. I devoured this book. It has been a minute since I’ve read a spicy book and my goodness didn’t realize how much I’ve missed it. I absolutely loved this book. The marriage for convenience is one of my favorite tropes and this book showed it perfectly. Isolde the princess of the house of Lara having no other choice but to marry the vampire king to save her people. To find there is an undeniable attraction to one another that she cannot ignore. Will she give in and explore the undeniable attraction?… I also appreciate the world building mixed with character development. It was done so well. I love that Isolde’s character development specifically was done beautifully. I can’t wait to see where things go in the second book!
