Rebel Roommate: Falling for an Aquarius
by Jeannine Colette, Lauren Runow
4.4 stars
I adore this author collaboration. It is seamlessly done and I have no idea where one writer stops and the other begins. I am enjoying that each book so far in this series of standalones is a different trope. It makes it so that it is refreshing and new.
There was great banter, antics, and characters in this story. It was mainly told in Stacie's point of view but there was one part told in Wes's, and in my opinion, was what made this book. I struggled with Wes for parts of this story and this put everything in perspective. This was needed, at least for me, because the scenes with his family did nothing to really explain WHO he was. I wanted to know how certain experiences altered him, especially his dad, but it wasn't until I got in his head that I was all aboard the Wes and Stacie train.
Even though this was not my favorite of the series, I still enjoyed it and look forward to whatever astrological sign is next.
