Coming-of-age, Deaf culture and ASL, some light anarchy, and complicated family relationships. What's not to enjoy?? Loved the sprinklings of history and sign language, and the way dialogue was handled among the shifting perspectives. Loved going in to this with some knowledge and coming out with more learning, and loved the depth of a story written by a Deaf author.
