I don’t know a lot about Gilda Ratner, the legendary SNL actress from the early days of the show, and I wanted to learn more, especially after reading Martin Short’s book which mentions her. This book is mostly a detailed account of her battle with ovarian cancer which is sad but she is honest and funny throughout. I’d love to read more about her time in comedy before becoming ill but still thought this was a great read (actually, a great listen and in her voice).
