One of the most enjoyable books I've read in a LONG time. The writing was amazing, the word usage and vocabulary were perfect (especially with the mixed-in French words). The characters were amazingly developed. I would have loved to know what happened to Yvette, but maybe that's for another story. This story had heart, adventure, love, wisdom, and everything else expected and hoped for in a good book. The plot never lulled, and was the perfect balance of pacing and sequence. I cannot say enough good things about this novel.
