I really wanted to love this one, and I certainly liked the premise and some of the more lyrical writing. But much of the time I struggled to feel invested. A big problem for me was there was no explanation as far as I could tell regarding the time loop. How does Lou trigger it? How is she not more curious about it?
The pacing felt off in some of the scenes, and I didn't really connect enough with any of the characters to care where this story went. And because I knew there would be five chances, I found myself eager to skim to the end and just see how the story came together.
