Incredibly emotional, but one of those books where the "reveal" is so obvious that it's frustrating that the main character doesn't figure it out on their own. And, of course, I love how Mason Deaver's books involve queer characters but don't make their queerness the main plot. It's discussed, sure, but more casually, like it should be.
