The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict

I was a bit disappointed in this book. Benedict usually writes about the accomplishments of women that are not usually recognized, and she does this to a point. The majority of the book was about the Hedy Lamar to was married to an Austrian arms dealer and his complete control over her. That's not what I wanted to know about. Apparently Hedy invented some sort of radar blocking contraption that would help win the war, but of course the men who were in charge wouldn't listen to her because she was a woman. That's what I wanted the majority of the book to be about.
