I had such a great time reading this book, I hardily ever reach for this sort of genre so it makes it extra fun to read. The setting is great, living on a lake to keep zombies at bay but dreading the winter when the lake freezes over and nowhere is safe? What a brilliant idea!
I absolutely blasted through the first half of the book, when more secrets got revealed I thought it was cool the way the story progressed. I didn't even realise it was part of a duology until after, but I'm very interested to carry on with Timberdark to find out more.
