A Risk Worth Taking by Jessica Joyce

5.0

did i immediately download this on my kindle as soon as jessica posted this approximately 3 hours ago and then devour it while sitting at the same office desk i am now writing this review at? yes. yes, i did.

if jessica joyce writes it, i am going to EAT. IT. UP. this was a short and sweet little novella to hold me over until her next book comes out in july (or until i give in to how much i miss her writing and read you, with a view for a third time). jessica has the natural ability to make me fall in love with everything she writes, even if it's a trope i don't gravitate toward (okay, one i don't particularly like, ie: the love-at-first-sight/insta-love-ish tropes) but now she has me questioning everything -- is this actually one of my favorite tropes now??? i love when i find authors that make themselves the exception

anyway now that my word vomit is over and i've revealed that my love for jessica is unconditional in a super cool way i am back to crying over the noelletheo crumb i got in this and a new couple to obsess over that i only had for 8 chapters.

be well fellow reader <3
