As you all know Julia Whelan is my favorite narrator. Iโ€™ve been wanting to read one of her books and the release of the movie for this one finally gave me the push I needed.

And I really loved it. Juliaโ€™s writing was really beautiful. I enjoyed the story. I thought the connection, tension, and build up to a relationship with the characters was well done. I loved the banter between the two of them. There was the right amount of emotion and emotional connection for me as a reader. And I really loved the way things wrapped up.

๐ŸŽง Julia Whelan narrates and of course sheโ€™s absolutely flawless.

Wellโ€ฆ the book is better. As always. The movie did not give me the same emotional connection to and for the characters. I did not like that the political aspect was taken out. And I absolutely hated the ending. Iโ€™m going to just pretend this didnโ€™t happen and let myself live in the Julia Whelan version.
