As you all know Julia Whelan is my favorite narrator. Iโve been wanting to read one of her books and the release of the movie for this one finally gave me the push I needed.
And I really loved it. Juliaโs writing was really beautiful. I enjoyed the story. I thought the connection, tension, and build up to a relationship with the characters was well done. I loved the banter between the two of them. There was the right amount of emotion and emotional connection for me as a reader. And I really loved the way things wrapped up.
๐ง Julia Whelan narrates and of course sheโs absolutely flawless.

Wellโฆ the book is better. As always. The movie did not give me the same emotional connection to and for the characters. I did not like that the political aspect was taken out. And I absolutely hated the ending. Iโm going to just pretend this didnโt happen and let myself live in the Julia Whelan version.
