I wasn't sure what I get when I started this one. The political situation is Sudan was well represented in this story. SamÂuel Sooleymon (Sooley) get the opportunity to play basketball in the USA to represent his country. In the middle of the tournament he learns of an attack on his home town and he immediately wants to go home,but that isn't possible. He is offered a scholarship at North Carolina Central out of sympathy. He practices for hours each day to get better. His ultimate goal is to do whatever he has to to get his family to the USA to be safe. Twist at the end I didn't expect.
