House of Gucci is an epic tale about murder, glamour and about the guccis, Forden writing just adds cherry to the cake. At the beginning of the book, we see the murder of Maurizio Gucci through the eye of a third man. As the book moves on we learn about the Guccis and their family, the internal rivalries between the family and how Maurizio took up Gucci from his uncle and cousin.

If you are someone who is interested in Fashion & history then I have a recommendation for you. This book is all wrapped up with the emergence of this fashion house and later turns out to be a million-dollar company. In my opinion, the second part of the book is my favourite.

No doubt at times, the book feels a little detail-oriented but I liked reading it.
