An Offer from a Gentleman is my favorite of the Bridgerton series so far. I hated the Cinderella aspects at first, mostly because it was a surprise to me. It felt like a knock-off rather than an intentional retelling, but I don't think it would have bothered me if I had known it was coming. Once I got over that, the story grew on me, and I think Benedict and Sophie are the most endearing of all the pairings introduced so far. I continue to love Violet. Without giving any specific spoilers, the fact that every got their just deserts at the end was quite satisfying.
