I don't even play d&d (although most of the people I love most in the world do) and the lack of understanding of d&d dropped me right out of the story SO HARD that I'm here writing this now while it's fresh. D7s are really uncommon dice and not part of a standard RPG set (which, of course, vary on the RPG, but D&D usually uses d4, d6, d8, d10, d%, d12, and d20, in some configuration, and people rarely have only a single set of these dice, which is why there's a good demand for handmade dice, and a lot of us that make them.)
