This book was beautifully written. Conrad gave the description of the Congo some sort of mystical undertone almost as if nature is its own entity. Also loved the philosophical comparisons between himself and the natives, it may have been a little racist but then again this was a product of its time an even then I felt like there was no otherway to express that ourselves and the natives are no different from eachother even in our more primal state of being.
