A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

5.0

This book make me feel so many emotions AT ONCE. This story was heartwarming and every single character felt so real by the way they acted and how marvellous Fredriks writing was! I loved the whole community of neighbours and all the people that Ove helped!

Although, I don’t think this book is sad. At least for me it was really reflective and funny more than devastating.

Fredrik Backman writes his characters stories really well! It’s glad to see that everyone that appeared in the book has an start and an ending in their own story! While you see how Ove’s Emotions develops / evolves you also see all the other people grow up with him. This makes all the characters to feel real and make you fall in love with all of them.

I don’t usually read this type of books but this was a good start and I hope to get into more Backmans books as soon as possible!
