Marion is a tad gun shy when it comes to men and relationships. Her ex is a world class abusive, PITA but a powerful mage. She is now in hiding in the magical hub of Vegas, all whilst trying to learn some magic to defend herself against him in the future. But if she can't get a simple love potion to do anything but explode she'll never learn the magic she needs.
Aidan, a royal guard of the Fairy Queen has been banished to earth for...well being anything but tactful. He just seems to open his mouth and he sticks his big foot in it!!! He has to "please a woman less than perfect". When he finds Marion, she may be just the woman he needs, the fact that he can pull a fast one on the Queen only adds to her appeal.
Fast paced adventure with abusive, ruthless ex boyfriends, possessive fairy Queen and a sweet wannabe witch just trying to live her life. There are a few great OMG moments and twists and turns along the way. Great start to a new series!!!!
