This sci-fi took me on an emotional ride. There were instances in the beginning that i skimmed through uninterested with the conversations of the officials or explanations that involved jargons but quickly I started becoming invested in our character, wondering how he would fair and how his life will turn out to be. Feeling so much for the pain he's experiencing. This was definitely a good book. But i would not choose to pick this up on my own knowing the homophobic views of the author.
