beautiful imagery. sharp prose. really enjoyed this a lot more than her other book “pachinko palor.” the narrator was a lot more fleshed out. you could really feel the strange tension between the narrator and kerrand—that subtle interest reminded me of sally rooney. i honestly wish that the author continued on with this story. it was so good
