You & Me at the End of the World by Brianna Bourne

4.0

Picked this up after vacillating way too long over what to read next. (Im telling you that Grady Hendrix book really messed with my head!) This though, turned out to be just the ticket.
Teenage ballet star Hannah wakes up to a completely deserted Houston, (her hometown) and fears she’s the only one around until she runs into Leo, the rock and roll rebel kid from her school that she’s never actually met but knows of…
The two of them spend several days together in Houston, falling for each other and trying to solve the mystery of why they seem to be the only people left??
This was a delight- funny, moving, engaging and easy to read. Hannah and Leo are awesome characters. I love how we get both their POV and I thought they were very authentic teens, especially Leo.
I recommend this as a fun palate cleanser of a book, particularly if you like YA as a genre, and disaster stories that won’t traumatize you but will make you think.
