Julia Del Mar Ortiz is a Texas transplant who starts a little group of ex New Yorkers to find some friends she can relate to in this new chapter of her life. Never in a million years did she expect that the one man she can’t keep her eyes off is also the one who has power to make or break her fresh start.
Adriana Herrera really has a way with swoon-worthy moments 🙌, and no one else could’ve made this fedora wearing man named Rocco so insanely attractive. Needless to say, I loved ‘Here to Stay’ and immediately started to fall for the leads, the side characters, the plot, the culture, everything. Julia’s family is magnificent and I’m such a sucker for abuelitas! Also, ‘found family’ is one of my favorite tropes EVER and it’s so sweetly done here 🥹. We don’t spend a toooon of time on the work aspect, which I appreciated bc ew.
