A Million Junes by Emily Henry

The story about June and her family history was … odd? I am trying really hard to dip my toes into fantasy and magical realism more and this almost seemed too much for me. This very may well be a me problem to be honest. This book may have had some odd things happening but it was very well written and easy to follow along even though my face was most likely contorted the entire time.

The YA love story between June and Saul was cute - total Romeo and Juliette vibes which I loved. I just felt there was so much hate between two families for almost no reason - got to the end and I was like.. that’s it? All this for that?
