DNF at 59% because I just don’t care. This was a bookclub read for me and despite the premise being quite promising - though this isn’t a book I would’ve picked up myself - none of the characters ever really came alive. This was clearly written by people without any significant training or experience in writing, to the books detriment. It wanted to do too much and it didn’t do it very well. Meh.
