i really enjoyed how the characters personal lives was a big part of this story and very rarely did it feel like a personal scene was abruptly interrupted by some work emergency [which is often the case in novels when the main characters are detectives. really really loved the found family trope in this book as well as the very sweet relationship between the two mmc's which didn't feel too drawn out ! overall a very solid read
