Daydream by Hannah Grace

It feels like everyone starts their review of this book with that quote, you know the one. And I ALMOST did too, but I’ll spare you in an effort to avoid repetition even though reading it in the context of the book made my heart do happy little flips.

I am so delighted to report that Daydream made my read of Icebreaker (that kinda became a hate read by the end) 100% worth it. Folks, I loved this book and I’m glad the first installment of this series didn’t discourage me from reading the book I started this journey for in the first place. I’m not even mad that close to half way through I ended up needing to purchase a copy because my loan expired and I couldn’t wait long enough for Daydream to make its way back to me. This book probably holds the record for most notes and highlights I’ve made in an ebook. And I’m so glad I’ll be able to look back at those anytime I want now.

If you hated Icebreaker it may still be worth giving this one a shot. Maybe find a good synopsis for it or listen to the episode Smut Up and Listen did on it. I haven’t listened to that specific episode (because I instead forced myself through Icebreaker) but I’ve enjoyed other episodes they’ve done so I bet they do a good sum up. And while I enjoyed Wildfire so much more than Icebreaker, if you only have it in you to try one more UCMH book make it this one.
