This is just a masterpiece. Literary fiction that has been written and massaged to a tee. I could highlight the whole book if I wanted this author really knows how to rack my brain and keep readers of the edge of their seat. Wasn’t a dull moment and I was super invested in all the characters and the outcomes/fates.
Felt like at times I was holding my breath and anticipating the next move. It was beautiful witnessing the growth especially of characters Ike & Buddy Lee on this journey. I always look for those beginning and ending moments where the book’s title is referenced, encompassing it all and he sure did deliver both times and it came full circle.
S.A. Cosby stays coming through again and again 👏🏾
