That was a super interesting read.
One of the things that I love of Penny's read is that there's something smart and witty about them. It's the characters and the language, the concepts and the humor. The combination of all those things plus a fun story always works for me. And Happily Ever Ninja didn't dissapoint in that regard.
The book was kind of weird, as Penny warned us before it was released. But I honestly thought it was going to be extremely bizarre, and it wasn't. It was just different from the other books in the series, and for that I'm really grateful.
The characters were awesome, both male and female lead, plus the children and second characters. Also we got to see the character from the other books and that was lovely. I really like Greg (the male lead) He was swooning worthy and so charming since the prequel, and Fiona... Well she was admirable as a woman, a badass and so kind, I love her, even though at times I wanted to shake her and tell her to just speak her mind without the fear.
The plot was different, but badass and it had a level of action that was fun to read and had me at the edge of my sit.
I honestly can say the book was awesome and I totally recommend not only this book but also the rest of Penny's titles. Her books and stories are amazing, different and fun to read. Can't wait to keep reading the rest of the series!

P.S. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
