364 Days a Year by Sarah Riad

5 STARS!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I needed to take a moment after finishing this book to process what I’d just read and how I felt. This book is THAT good! The unique storyline and creativity that went into it, is unlike any other YA read I’ve come across! It was so well written and emotionally captivating. I never wanted it to end. But when it did... WOW!!! There were no words for the last chapter!

364 days a year spent in a random seventeen year old’s body. Anticipating March 29th, when the clock would strike midnight and suddenly they’d find themselves in a new body and a new dire situation. Over and over this pattern repeated, until they woke up as Ophelia Lori Garcia, born 29th of March 2001.

Effy’s character was heartbreaking yet so strong. I absolutely loved the relationship she had with Michael. It’s rare in a book, to see a parent/child bond like the one they had. And Ayden, what a transition his character took on and it made me love him that much more as the story transpired! Initially I was pulling for a HEA, but as the story progressed I became more accepting of the fact that it just might end in tragedy. What a rush!

I will be recommending this read to anyone who will listen. Thank you to the author for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
