I kept hearing about how good this book is, but I never really believed it until I read it. This book is AMAZING, and I don't know where to begin about what I loved about this book. The characters were amazing, all with their own story and voice. Honestly the only thing that was missing was a Wylan POV and I hope that's in the next book. The callbacks to the original trilogy were nice little tidbits that I enjoyed. The banter and conversation among the protagonists is awesome as well, especially when Jesper was involved. Some of the moments used some of my favorite tropes and I loved that too. And also the fact that it doesn't focus too much on the romance. Another thing I liked was that there was always something interesting going on, I was almost never bored with the book like I am for most books. It feels a bit fragmented between the different POVs but it all comes together in the end like a puzzle. Definitely a book I'll reread eventually.
