You know that feeling when you've discovered another author who you know you'll want to read EVERYTHING by? This book gave me that.

Tori accidentally ends up a bartender in a paranormal bounty hunter HQ. She's a basic human (with supreme snark and stubborness abilities, but no magical talent) navigating this new (to her) world of magic. And trying to pay rent and be a functional adult.

Paranormal urban fantasy with a pinch of romantic tension, found family vibes, and a compelling mystery / action plot? SIGN ME UP.

I am a little disappointed to have googled ahead and found out this isn't a RH (reverse harem) series, because with multiple love interests in this book, it definitely has that potential. But I'm just happy that so far it doesn't seem to have a cringy love triangle plot, even with multiple potential romantic interests.
The romance is also definitely a sub plot, this is not a romantasy, and no spice beyond kissing in this first book.
