I enjoyed reading this book. It wasn’t your basic mystery/thriller which I appreciated. It follows a luxury exclusive hotel/ resort company, the CEO, some workers, and rich celebrity guests at a launch of a new island resort. The book is written in third person, following each major guest over the course of the nights leading up to the opening, and then present day news articles and interviews describing what happened the night of the launch. There were some juicy twists that I didn’t see coming, and it was something fresh and not overdone. I enjoyed the writing style of this book & would recommend as a thriller / palette cleanser or just a light beach read.
