Schwab does it again with this haunting book that is going to be with me for a long time.
The standout character for me was Lottie, whose story really, really worked for me. Sabine and Lottie were also incredible characters, but I did love Lottie and her story the most (just about, it was a close run thing).
I also loved how this explored vampirism, and how time affects everyone, even those who are 'immortal.' It didn't shy away from the darkness of the story either, which I always appreciate!
