This book was not what I expected at all, I was expecting a light slice-of-life, but this book delivered tantalizing threads of deeper meanings and heart wrenching emotion. The last chapter is still laying on my mind as I try to make sense of all that I just read.

This book is a fascinating look into the Japanese culture, and I wonder what else I missed in this book as an outsider looking in.
