I was determined I wouldn't pick up the sequel for the first like 60% of this book, but it picked up enough that I said "ugh fine" and bought Leather & Lark when I saw it in Walmart. UGH I just HAD to buy another book.... ;)
No but in reality, this was a little slow at first for me, I felt a lack of chemistry. The concept was unique, and overall enjoyable despite pacing issues. Liked the dual POV. Wording was slightly confusing at some parts. I'll pick up the next one because I'm interested in the characters it features.
