I still loved this one, but Eugenidies and his antics really are the heart and soul of the series for me! While in the previous book we got to see his actions from afar, here, we saw Sophos learning from him, but the comedy and irony wasn't quite as strong. Still, watching Sophos coming into his own was a delight (and as always, the audiobook narrator is a gem breathing added life into these characters!)
