Chasing the Moon by S.M. Soto

Update: The author plagarized many of her books. Keeping the review but removijg the star rating.

“Just as the sun loves the moon, and the stars love the night.”

Girl has got it bad for Endymion. I understand but also felt sorry for Selene. Who hasn’t had an unrequited crush? My heart was hurting and I wanted to give her a hug after her 18th birthday. Selene leaves for school with an extra surprise birthday gift from unknowingly Endymion. Cue the time jump 6 years... totally saw that coming. Little Luna is funny. She is most definitely sassy! Selene does not tell a soul the paternity of little Luna. A family issue brings Selene back to her hometown. Now, guess who’s pining after whom? Endymion is wooing our girl, Selene. Selene hesitates doing anything with End because of her guilt. Reading the story had my emotions on a tilt a whirl. There’s one section where I had to literally stop because my own heart was pounding and hurting as much as Selene. Then I start to read then my heart breaks over again for Selene. By the end of the book, I’m hugging myself and willing not to cry. This book truly guts you then magically heals your heart at the end like a warm happy hug with the HEA. Reading the acknowledgements at the end reflect the feelings I have when finishing the book. Oh. And I wish I was as sassy as little Luna. The girl is a trip! Love her sass.
