okay, was this the perfect book? no. but did it literally drag me out of my reading slump and was so compelling, once i got into it i couldn’t put it down? YES. like i’m sorry but if you give me an unapologetic woman, true polyamory, and a mindfuck cliffhanger??? i gotta give it all the stars. anyway i need the sequel yesterday and knowing it has no release date because xiran’s publisher isn’t playing nice is absolutely unacceptable (check out their twitter for all the info, it’s literally wild.) but when the next book comes out, you know i’m buying it ✌
