Getting Dirty by Erin Nicholas

2.0

Lauren Davis has left her country roots behind. Or she thought she had. Then her best friend/boss fell in love with a woman from Sapphire Falls. And now, this big-city woman is right back where she started. Or, at least nearby.
Travis Bennett is the opposite of everything that Lauren wants. At least, that's what she tells herself. Except that she's so darn attracted to him. And to the town. So she makes a deal with Travis for him to help her not to fall in love with either. But, of course, it all backfires in the best way.
This book was s-l-o-w for the first quarter to third. I was listening to it and, if I hadn't been working on a project at the time, I probably would have DNF'd the book. However, it picked up a bit once the two actually fell in love but then the Big Misunderstanding at the end felt like overkill. The book was okay but, should I ever re-read the series I will probably skip this one.
