Honestly the longer this book went on the more stars it started to lose for me. The first half I really enjoyed but then at some point it just seemed like she was wallowing in being a victim. I’m probably being way too harsh here. I also hated being called “reader” and anytime she mentioned something and then said she wouldn’t tell us about it for whatever reason. That was so odd because I hadn’t asked but then felt scolded as if I had asked for her to reveal things she didn’t want to. I dunno- the writing was very pretty at points and I could feel the emotions. I guess maybe if there had been more light or if it wasn’t as long.
