Home Is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose

“It’s about death, grief, regret, the things we need in life, and the things life needs from us. It’s about love with and without conditions. It’s about addiction and healing. But most of all, it’s about family. What it means to be one, what it means to have one, and what it means to lose one.”
Really liked this one, was surprised by the twists at the end. Glad I finally read the book—the deep red sprayed edges/special edition has been sitting on my shelf for too long. Loved the 90s/VHS movie shoutouts at the ending of my physical book. Would definitely recommend! Was an easy read that kept me wanting to keep on to get to know the family secret.
