Interesting idea, to interpret famous poems in a comic-book-panel kind of visual format. The artist, Julian Peters, is adept in a wide variety of art styles, which makes reading through the book unpredictable and fun (though most of the artwork has a somewhat sketchy, unfinished look). For some of the selections, the artwork helped bring the poem to life in a new way; for a few of them, the comic-panel style actually made the poem harder to read. But even with the ones that I liked, I almost hated to look at them for too long, lest that imagery become the imagery I associate with a poem that might look many other different ways. It felt a little wrong to turn a poem into visual art with very little ambiguity.
