Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

5.0

This truly is a work of art. After finishing such an excellent book, how am I supposed to move on to the next book? It's without a doubt the best book I've read so far this year and among the best romances in a while. This kind of book is what made me fall in love with reading.

Violet, she is brave, kind, and willing to go to great measures to defend others. She also knows how to speak up for herself and other people. People usually underestimate her because of her chronic sickness. Throughout the book, I really enjoyed following her journey. Xaden, I was completely in love with him. He's strong, hot, and smart in choosing his battles; he's no pushover. It was amazing to watch his character grow. He's definitely one of my top three book boyfriends, tho.

The chemistry between Xaden and Violet is phenomenal. I appreciate how open and honest they are with one another, how neither of them holds the other back and how they each give each other the opportunity to make mistakes and benefit from them, and progress. They balance each other so well. Certainly their relationship is matured.

Dain, at first I liked him, but it didn't last long. Similar to Tamlin, he is an ass. Especially in terms of the final actions he did to her and everyone else. The world-building is thorough and well-planned. For the most part, the book's remains fast-paced. Wonderful supporting characters includes the dragons and Liam in especially. My love is for Tairn and Adarana.

The last page made me gasp. Personally, I believe it's such a masterpiece. It has been a while since I felt this completely in love with a book. This was extremely difficult to put down because of Rebecca Yarros's addicting writing style. If you haven't read this, you are missing out. I don't know what you're doing, but GO READ IT! It won't let you down, I promise you.
